Revenue Manager (m/f/d) for Innovative Pricing and Product Design
Your mission that drives sustainability in logistics
As a Revenue Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our revenue processes and developing innovative pricing strategies. You’ll monitor the financial performance of our routes, optimize cost structures, and work with our team to create solutions for a sustainable and economically successful logistics operation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operational Performance & Reporting:
Prepare monthly, route-based performance reports focusing on revenue integrity and profit optimization. Develop and implement cost-reduction measures, provide booking trend forecasts, and create detailed reports for management. - Demand & Revenue Forecasting:
Identify and quantify upselling opportunities, test customer mix and willingness to pay, and work on continuously improving forecast accuracy. - Pricing and Capacity Optimization:
Set volume and revenue targets in collaboration with management, leverage analytics to meet goals, introduce target pricing, and incorporate competitor data into RM decisions. - Route Planning:
Evaluate new routes and frequencies, assist in feasibility studies, and support implementations with financial and IT analyses. - System and Process Design:
Develop efficient revenue management processes and documentation to ensure clear and smooth operations, working closely with IT and the PMO. - Digital Transformation:
Lead projects to optimize commercial processes, represent revenue management in new system developments, and continuously adapt IT infrastructure based on market demands. - Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Business Planning, and Controlling to strengthen the understanding of revenue management across the organization.
Your Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in revenue management, sales control, or related commercial processes
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of process design and digitalization
- Familiarity with project management methods, ideally within a sales or logistics-related environment
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with management, IT, and operations teams
- Fluent in German and English (at least C1 level)
